MYTH: This Universe and our Solar system was created by the "BIG BANG" billions of years ago.
REALITY: Supreme soul God Shiva now reveals that this Universe and our Solar system are eternal and was never created and will never get destroyed.
DISCUSSION: Many modern scientists believe that the universe originated from a ‘cosmic egg’, by a catastrophic explosion, called ‘The Big Bang’. They rule out its creation by God. On the contrary, many religionists believe that, originally God created the world. The question is which one of these two Hypothesis is more rational? Was the universe created at some point of time or it is eternal?
"THE BIG BANG THEORY": According to this theory, all the matter and energy in the universe was first condensed as a "cosmic egg" which contained Hydrogen gas only. Over a period of time, probably several billions of years, this "cosmic egg" became unstable and the egg burst and the fragments of that catastrophic explosion, which were sent hurtling out in all directions in space, became the galaxies. Not only did portions of the 'cosmic egg' form the present day galaxies but, on a more subtle level, the cosmic egg broke up to form various atoms and 102 elements we know today. We will now consider whether the formation of ‘cosmic egg’, and its subsequent explosion (‘the big-bang’) caused the consequent formation of galaxies as it is explained in science books.
On reading this big-bang theory, one is bound to ask, "But where did the ‘cosmic egg’ come from? Which ‘hen’ laid this egg? And whether that ‘hen’ was first or the ‘egg’ was first? In other words, how did Hydrogen or its electrons and protons originate?" To answer this question, scientists take refuge in the concept of Eternity and in the law of conservation of mass and energy. They say that the Matter, making up the cosmic egg, was always there because Matter is Eternal and is always conserved; it never gets annihilated.
Well, let us take it for granted that Matter was always there, the crucial question is whether the Matter was there in the form of the 'cosmic egg'? If it was always in the form of 'cosmic egg'-- then one would like to ask, in that case, the 'cosmic egg' should have remained stable in that form for, there was nothing else there to disturb it. Why did it suddenly at ‘zero time’, cease to be stable? What led to its explosion after billions of years of stability? What were the forces, which originally, had been keeping it stable and what new forces now, suddenly brought about the explosion? Now keeping in view--Newton’s first Law of Motion, which states that "everything keeps itself in the state of rest or motion unless there is an external force, which is applied to it". The question is " Since there was nothing else besides the thin Hydrogen gas, what led the gas to become unstable? Since the force of gravitation was the same as it had remained for billions of years--how did it increase so as to cause the contraction of the gas? According to the First Law of conservation of Mass and Energy, the total mass and energy in the universe remains constant—in other words, no more can be created so as to be added to it nor can any part of it be destroyed to be lessened from it. So the question is--what additional force or energy outside the gas mass originally led the gas-particles to draw closer and become unstable. None of the scientists to this day, have solved this riddle and have no satisfactory answer to these questions on which depends the validity or credibility of this theory.
On the other side of this controversy are various religious beliefs of the world. Most of them are based on the belief that God created life or living beings out of inanimate matter or out of nothing – meaning thereby that He created matter also. This belief also implies, indirectly though, that life has an origin. People who believe in these religions, criticize Darwin’s theory of Evolution. They say that life could not arise from inanimate matter and could not appear by chance and that it was originally created by God. These religious people, who strongly refute Darwin’s theory about origin of life, on various grounds, yet their own world-view also is based on life arising from inanimate Matter, with only this major difference, that they believe that it was created by an all wise and all powerful God, who can do anything.
If one examines both the world views impartially and critically, one would find that both have failed to solve the basic question, concerning life. In fact, both explanations – one called ‘the scientific’ and the other called ‘the religious’ – have raised more fundamental questions than they have solved. Most of the major religions hypothesize that God created life--all fowls and fish and man and all kinds of life in various forms. The Quran also says that God created the world and man. The Vedas and Puranas also say that God created Brahmand (the Cosmos) and man, woman and all forms of life. Thus one of their basic beliefs is that life had an origin at some point of time in the past, however remote.
Now let us examine whether life was really created at some time in the past or is it eternal.
The ‘living cell’ is a very complex entity and no part of it can work outside the cell or in isolation. No part can work unless the whole cell is there. Thus science shows that no one could have first created some constituents of a cell and then some others and then finally created the cell. The cell works as a non-splittable unit and only a cell can reproduce a cell. Nothing less than a cell can produce a ‘living cell’. It would therefore be wrong to say, that chance produced a living cell in the distant past from some ‘simpler molecules’ or that God created cells out of nothing or from simple elements of Nature – Akash (ether), Jal (water), Agni (Fire), Vayu (Air) and Prithvi (Earth), because the cosmos is such, that one thing is so intimately dependent on the other that one cannot be created if all others do not simultaneously exist. Thus, the only correct worldview can be, that life has always been in existence and will never cease to be. Consciousness and life exist eternally. Life can, under no circumstances, come out of non-living matter. Therefore, any theory, which tries to explain ‘the origin of life’ starts from the wrong assumption that life had an origin.
Secondly, religionists, who contend that God created various living forms, find themselves caught up in circuitous reasoning and are unable to answer questions which their own theory gives rise to. For example, they are unable to answer "Why God, perfectly wise-contented and happy Being, have the desire to create the world? "When and how did God create the world?" Why, He, an omnipotent and perfect Being, created a world in which we find sorrow and sufferings? So on and so forth. Thus the explanation of religionists does not solve the mystery of creation.
The truth however, can be revealed by God Himself--for He and the world exist eternally, with the difference that the world of Matter is ephemeral and ever-changing whereas He exists in his unchanging nature eternally. He says that life also is uncreated and eternal--only life reproduces life. He has not created any living forms. He only guides man when he forgets his real identity and loses his morals and thus brings about an order of righteousness, happiness and peace. In this eternal World Cycle—the duration of which is 5000 years—there are 3 imperishable and eternal entities—God, Souls and Matter and the world Drama is the interaction of these three entities. From Golden Age to Iron Age is the Cycle of World History. At the end of every Iron Age, God descends again to put back the world again on the right track. He imparts Godly knowledge and teaches spiritual discipline, to transform human beings. This is the Absolute truth.

The unvarying rate at which Uranium expands its nuclear energies and ultimately decays into lead, and the absence of any natural process leading to its formation indicate that all the Uranium on the earth must have come into existence at one specific time. Thinking on these lines and applying the correlation between the Uranium/lead ratio, i.e. computing on the basis of the rate of uranium decay, the geophysicists concluded that it must have taken Uranium about four to five billion years to have decayed to the present level of lead. They had no reason to think that there could have occurred a nuclear holocaust about 5000 years ago which might have affected lead and transformed it into radio-active Uranium --but now that they can at least see the possibility of such an event, they can rethink over their radio-methods of dating. If they do, they will come to the conclusion that a grave nuclear disaster 5000 years ago and not any other cause (5 billion years ago) that changed lead into Uranium. Well, even if one thought that Uranium decay started from a point of time 5 billion years ago, one would have to explain how lead, at that point of time, got changed into Uranium even when there is no natural process leading to such transformation.
In fact, one should draw this corollary that Uranium and other radioactive ‘elements’ are not ‘elements’ at all because they are not stable like other elements. The stable element from which we get Uranium is Lead. The very fact that once upon a time, Lead changed into Uranium should show that there has been a nuclear catastrophe that occurred 5000 years ago in the past --and such a Catastrophe is mentioned in great Hindu Epic Mahabharat, which refers to the great war between the Yadavas (the European and the western world)—in which Moosals (the present day missiles) and other nuclear weapons ie. Brahmastras and Agni-asthras(laser guided weapons) were used –which resulted in total destruction of the Earth followed by a period of peace and prosperity thereafter.
While the scientists are aware of the physical dimensions of Matter and Energy, they have completely overlooked the dimensions of Time and Space—which are eternal-absolute entities. So this leads us to the simple and Absolute Truth, that if Time and Space are eternal then everything in Time and Space--which includes the matter and energy forming the Galaxies--are also eternal—and the Eternal and Absolute Truth being that the interaction of Matter and Energy occurs in a cyclical pattern and repeats itself after a specific period of time (5000 years) throughout eternity. What is manifest today will be unmanifest tomorrow—only to be repeated and revealed after 5000 years—and again after 5000 years—and again and again till eternity. Also it would not be out of context to quote from the Hindu scripture Gita—where Lord Krishna is disclosing the secrets of the universe to Arjuna and reminds him, " O Arjuna--There was no time in the past nor there will be a time in the future, when you, I and these Kings on the battlefield will any time cease to exist." -( Truth is Stranger than Fiction ) -- om shanti.
